Under 12 junior badminton was first run in June 2010, until the end of summer term, after a successful berwick badminton bonanza for the local first schools. Schools teams of 6 were invited to enjoy different badminton related tasks in a competative envirnoment. Over 200 children took part.
With the aid of a "get badminton going" grant the U12 session were run again in July and August 2011 at the Swan centre on a wednesday evening 6-7pm.
Two new 6 week sessions will run in September and November from 6-7pm, now on Thursday. Fee will remain at £1 and the session will be run by a qualified coach. Numbers will be limited to 12.
